A little while ago I wrote a post about the book ‘Eat that Frog’ and taking those tasks that you typically procrastinate on and doing them first thing each day. This way you are free to focus on everything else during the day rather than always dodging the cloud hanging over your head. Here is a great note that Vicki Fazzini, an agent in Bainbridge Island, WA, sent me about doing the difficult things first:
I love e the Eat the Frog concept. You know that I keep an insanely organized daily to-do list. Now, instead of just going down the list and not getting that ‘one thing’ done every time… you know… the one that you always have to put on the next day’s list because you keep putting it off? … Well, now I take the thing that I really DON’T want to do and that will make my day or week better and just write FROG in all caps next to that item.
All I can tel you is that I have been eating a lot of frogs lately. And I’ll tell you what. It does NOT taste like chicken. It tastes like success. I’m loving it!
