Do You Ever Doubt Your Doubts?

I love this question!

It falls into the awesome category of: “things that make you go hmmmm”

When was the last time that you doubted your doubts?

Do you even know if they are valid?

A doubt is just a thought.  There isn’t anything to back it up. So why not doubt your doubts and paint a new picture?

Doubts are just fears and fear is the absence of love so what if you could love yourself through the situation rather than doubting the possibility?

Remember when you learned to ride a bike?  Did you ever doubt that you could do it?  No.  You took the bumps and bruises along the way as a right of passage and kept at it until you were sailing down the street on two wheels.  As children we move toward our goals with a beautiful sense of certainty that we will get there.  We know that there will be bumps and bruises along the way, but that is just a part of the process.

Some where between childhood and adulthood something changes.  We starts to doubt ourselves.  The bumps along the way turn into insurmountable hurdles and we give up before we even begin.

Starting today, doubt your doubts and do it anyway.  Before you know it, you will be sailing down the street with the wind in your hair and a sense of accomplishment that has you beaming from ear to ear.

Why Proving Yourself Is A Bad Idea

March 14, 2025

I competed on a listing this week that I didn’t get. It was a great one too – awesome house, great clients. It was one I really wanted. When I got done pouting I took a few minutes to ask myself, ‘where did it go wrong’? Our first appointment was amazing! The second one, not…

Don’t Try To Catch Up – Just Start Where You Are

February 28, 2025

I’ve spent the last few days in Virginia at my favorite real estate conference, Genuine Hustle, where I had the honor of presenting a session on asking powerful questions. This Phone Call Brings In The Most Referrals

February 23, 2025

Can calls really translate into referrals? Are some more effective than others? When we work with clients it’s easy to go into ‘get it done’ mode. We focus on getting from contract to closing as quickly and smoothly as possible. And to be fair, that’s a big part of what our clients hire us to…
