I have to admit that, from time to time, I catch myself running around like crazy telling myself over and over again how stressed I am. Fortunately, at some point, I will take a deep breath and realize that, if I stopped focusing on how stressed I am, I could use that energy and brain space to actually work out a solution. Whenever I do this, I always manage to come up with something that doesn’t take nearly as much time and often provides a much better result.
So, the next time you catch yourself running around like a maniac, completely stressed out about things, take a deep breath and remember that stress is a choice. Yes, you do have a lot going on, but focus on the solution, not the problem.
