Be Grateful And Celebrate Your Accomplishments

When was the last time you celebrated your accomplishments big and small?

It’s the last week of the year. Next week we dive into the New Year, new goals and endless resolutions. Before you do that, take a moment to celebrate all that you have accomplished in 2012.

We tend to be forward focused, which means that the accomplishments can get lost in the fray.

Taking time out to be grateful and celebrate your accomplishments is important. Especially if you are feeling worn out from being so busy.

Give yourself the gift of an hour in the next week to write down 50 things that you are grateful for and 50 accomplishments that you want to celebrate.

Some will be big, but don’t overlook the small things like:

  • Getting out of bed in the morning to work out when you didn’t want to
  • Making a healthy dinner for your family
  • Calling a client you haven’t talked to in a while to reconnect

This was a big year for me with teaching more workshops and mentoring agents. It has been exciting and nerve wracking all at the same time. I wouldn’t trade it for anything! The picture above is from a gratitude lunch I hosted to thank some of the agents who have joined me along the way.
