Is This Missing From Your Business Plan?
Business is winding down for 2014 and it’s time to look at 2015. The New Year is a blank slate, just waiting for you to create something amazing.
It’s filled with possibility. Does that scare you or inspire you? Maybe a little bit of both?
This week I lead a mentorship group for our Women’s Council of Realtors chapter on business planning and what we thought would be an intimate round table ended up being standing room only!
Wow! We definitely hit on a hot topic.
What I kept hearing over and over is the frustration of trying to figure out a business plan that actually helps.
We covered a lot of things during the mentorship meeting, but one of the biggest aha’s was realizing what isn’t on most plans:
Having a coach, mentor, or accountability partner to keep you on track
There are few guarantees in life, but one thing that is for certain is that no matter how great your plan is and how committed you are to it, you are going to get off track. The difference between those that succeed and those that struggle is how fast they get back on.
The benefit of having a coach is that they can see is faster and help you course correct. I doubled my business this year and a big part of that was having a coach to keep me on track and see where I was missing things.
So take the first step to creating success for next year and make sure that you have an awesome coach in place.
And if you want some more help with your business plan and are overwhelmed with the options, I’m hosting a business planning workshop from 12-3 on Tuesday December 9th.
We will be boiling it down to what works for you and creating the mindset you need to get you there.
