Break It Down – Way Down
It’s the end of January – how are you going on your goals? Are you on track? ahead? Or frantically re calculating your numbers based on 11 months vs 12?
Typically I’m a fan of looking at the bigger picture. Meaning I set a monetary goal for the year and just focus on that. Breaking it down into months, weeks, price points, number of transactions, etc stresses me out.
But sometimes it helps to shift gears a bit. If I’m off in January I can start to stress about the year ahead.
When that happens it’s time to break things down and focus on the next 30 days. I set a monetary goal for the month and focus on the sprint. It’s all about creating momentum – and sales.
How can I up my game in February vs January?
- If I made 3 FORD calls a day, can I do 5 in February?
- Can I focus on my Hot / Warm list daily vs weekly?
- Can I get creative to find properties for my buyers?
- Can I help my sellers get ready faster?
- Can I call more and text and email less, because when I do my referrals increase?
- Can I focus on my gratitudes and affirmations daily, knowing that what I focus on expands?
Sometimes you need to let go of the big picture to focus on the task at hand. It’s the tasks that get you there in the end.
