Two Agents, One Market
Right now there are agents telling anyone who will listen that the market is dead. Nothing is moving. Pick your reason — they have plenty of them.
Full disclosure – we all end up getting sucked into the vortex of ‘nothing’s working’ at some point. Even me. Nancy and I talked about this in our podcast this week. It’s our most vulnerable episode yet!
The key is to notice it, and recognize that you have the power to change it.
Because, there are agents in that exact same market having different conversations, showing up with different energy, and having a great year.
So the question isn’t what is the market doing?
The question is — what are YOU doing with the market you’re in?
Are You Deciding or Defaulting?
Are you intentionally deciding what you want this market to be for you? Showing up knowing opportunities exist, knowing clients are ready, committed to making something happen?
Or are you letting the world decide for you — absorbing the fear on social media, the doom on the news, the discouragement from agents around you who aren’t having good years?
It happens gradually. And before you know it, you’ve adopted a belief that isn’t even yours.
It’s not the market. It’s the frequency you’re broadcasting.
Your Income Is a Decision
Remember the corny saying – you have to believe to receive?
It’s true.
If you believe clients are motivated and opportunities are available, that is what you will experience.
The agents winning right now aren’t lucky. They’ve simply decided to look for what’s working instead of collecting evidence for what isn’t.
That’s available to you. Right now. In this market.
The market doesn’t determine your income.
You do.
