Alex wrote his first fan letter yesterday. He just got a book about R2-D2 from Star Wars and thinks that he is the greatest thing ever right now so he wanted to write him a letter. We drew R2-D2 a picture and then Alex wrote him a note that said ‘R2-D2, You are so cool. I have your book. Alex H.’ Super cute!
When was the last time you let someone know that you are a fan of theirs? We all get busy and feel rushed, but taking a moment out of your day to leave someone a message or write them a note just to say, ‘ I just wanted to let you know that I was thinking about you and that you are the greatest. Thanks so much for all that you do’ takes only moments and yet the impact for the other person can be more than you will ever know. So reach out. Acknowledge the people in your daily life, and then go beyond your normal boundaries. Is there an author, speaker, or some other figure in your life that is important to you? Take the time to let them know that and the impact that they have had on you. No one is above feeling loved and appreciated.
