Summer Guilt, Being Present And Going Back To School

I know that summer is almost over and we are all shifting gears, weather we have children at home or not into back to school mode.

Now is the time to plan your marketing for a strong 4th quarter and a solid start to 2012.

Before I fully shift into high gear, I did some reflecting on the summer and spending time with my kids. I must admit that there is always an element of guilt each summer that I can’t spend more time with them.

What I realized is that it is all about how I spend my time with them, versus how much. Being present is the key to releasing guilt because I know that whatever time we do spend together is 100% focused on them.

My video today shares my insights that helped me through the summer, but are relevant for us all year long.

Your assignment is to take the action of being present beyond the summer. With your children, your spouse, friends, clients. Everyone that you interact with. Focus on being 100% present. You will be amazed at how much more you get out of the time you spend together personally and professionally.

Wishing you much success!
