The Best and Worst Part About Sales
It’s the scariest thing until it becomes the best thing.
In sales, you are in the unique and wonderful position to be the only person who controls how much money you make. You don’t need to ask your boss for a raise or hope you get a good review, you can change your income today.
Admittedly this can be scary at times and feel like you are going through life without a net, hoping for the best. But there is also a wonderful part to this.
It is all up to you.
Not only do you not need your Boss’s permission to make more money, you don’t need the market.
In real estate I see it all the time. Agents talk about the market, inventory levels, interest rates, government shut downs and how they are affecting their business, meaning their income.
Today I invite you to shift your thought process on that. All of the things listed above have no effect on your income, unless you let them.
They affect how you do your business, but business is always there to be done.
Yes it’s scary, but when you take control of what is yours in can be an empowering and beautiful thing.
Stop waiting for the market to change or someone to give you permission. Start looking for things you can do right now that can have an impact, no matter how big or small. Call a client, preview a home, write a note card. Get in contact with the world around you and know that you can do this.
