Love, Loss and Gratitude
This week was the completion of my Dad’s journey. He passed away on Monday. This is my last picture with him.
So many of you have been on this journey with me through conversations and my Facebook posts. Your comments, kindness and words of support have meant the world. Thank you for showing up for me – I can’t even begin to tell you how much it means.
A few months ago, when I knew that things were taking a turn for my Dad, I made a conscious decision to not put much effort into real estate.
I’ve referred out clients and partnered on others.
My real estate numbers might not be great right now, but the opportunity to BE there with my Dad was priceless.
It’s been a beautiful combination of showing up for him, and also for myself to spend the time with him.
I will always be grateful for the time.
These last weeks and months have been a beautiful reminder that there are many ways to measure success, and that the definition of what we consider successful can shift based on where we are in life.
Success will look different for the second half of 2024 than it did the first. And that’s okay.
Whatever the definition of success is for you, make sure that it is one that works for you.
