My Secret To Having It All During The Holidays

[field name=youtube-video]

Happy Thanksgiving! This is a wonderful week for gratitude, time with family and friends and of course, the start of the true holiday craziness.

There is so much going on right now that it’s easy to put business on the back burner. Don’t do it!

Today I’m sharing with you my secret for having it all during the holidays. Time to enjoy all of the festivities, time with your family and time to connect with your clients to strengthen your relationships and set you up for business success in the coming year.

Here’s how you do it:

There are so many fun things going on right now: tree lightings, light displays, sledding, holiday plays and concerts. Great things that don’t cost a lot and don’t require any effort to set up on your part. Pick 4 fun activities that you would like to do this season and put them on your calendar right now. Aim for one a week. We are going sledding this weekend and I can’t wait to play in the snow with the boys!

2 days before the event call 3-5 clients and invite them to go with you. Yes, it’s spur of the moment, but that’s part of what makes it so fun. People’s schedules are already so full that making a big ordeal about the scheduling will turn a lot of people off and stress them out. Just call them and say “hey, it’s last minute, but we are going sledding this weekend and wanted to know if you would like to join us.” People love getting inviations to do things just for the fun of it.

In a perfect world they can make it and you get to have fun enjoying the holidays with your family and get some client bonding time in as well. Even if they can’t make it, they will appreciate that you thought of them and it will give you a chance to wish them a happy holiday in a more meaningful way.

The other side benefit of doing this is that you will actually get to enjoy the holidays. There have been so many years where the season went by in a blur and I didn’t do anything to actually have fun and enjoy it. This makes having fun a priority and gives you the best of both worlds when it comes to balancing client time and family time.

So there you have it. My secret for enjoying the holidays and having it all. It’s like throwing a series of client parties that you don’t have to pay for or organize.  How perfect!

The other thing that is important to do this time of year is to work on your business plan for next year. If you are struggling with knowing what to do in order to achieve your goals, my Turbo Charge Your Business, VIP 1/2 day may be exactly what you need. We will dive into where you are at and where you want to go and lay out the road map so that you start the new year confident that your need to do to get you there.

Right now I am offering these sessions at 1/2 off of what I normally charge and I have 3 spots left between now and the end of the year so if you want some help maping out your plan, send me an email at nicole@nicolemangina.com and we can schedule a time to chat and see if it is a fit for you.

To your success!

Nicole

August 21, 2026

Last week I shared how the end of August is a weird time – wanting to savor summer, while also shifting back into work mode. Turns out I’m not the only one this happens to! Thank you for all of the notes and feedback. I’ve found that when I’m not taking action, I spend WAY…

I Used To Dread The Last 2 Weeks Of August

August 14, 2026

Thirty years in real estate has taught me a lot of things. One of the best is this: I can finally see my own patterns. Like the one where I get twitchy every year mid-August. Part of me wants summer to stretch on forever. Part of me is itching for routine, order, and the satisfaction…

Beliefs = Actions = Results – It Matters Where You Start

August 7, 2026

August is an interesting month for me. I’m savoring the relaxed pace of summer, while also starting to think about Fall and shifting back into work mode. With a shift in focus I naturally start wondering what will happen. Will I be busy? Where will my clients come from? Will they be buyers or sellers?…

What Do You LOVE About Your Business?

July 24, 2026

I’m back!!! There’s been a lot going on lately, (more on that in a later post) and it’s been a few weeks since I’ve sent you a note. Needless to say, I’ve missed you! I’ve been moving through a lot of ‘life’ lately, and there’s been a common thread in my business that has surprised…

How Do You Want Summer To Feel?

June 19, 2026

Summer is often a season of expectations not meeting reality. I used to think my perfect summer meant iced tea on the patio while reading every day. For the record, that’s never happened. And for a while, I felt bad about it — like I was missing out, like I was doing summer wrong. Until…

You’re Not Behind, There Are Infinite Options

June 12, 2026

Your in box is about to fill up with emails about us being 1/2 through the year. You know – the ones that ask if you’re on track with your goals, and offer a solution to whip you into shape for the next 6 months. If you are having a great year – I celebrate…

Letting Go Of The Hustle Sounds Great, But You’ve Got a Business To Run

May 29, 2026

To be clear, I am 100% for less hustle, more flow, manifesting, receiving, regulating my nervous system, and letting things be easier. But somewhere between: “That sounds amazing” and “I’m a real estate agent – I need to generate clients and sell houses to earn an income” Things can get confusing. Because no matter how…

The Beauty of Not Doing It Alone

May 22, 2026

Thank you for being part of this community! I learned something beautiful and powerful last week. It was vulnerable to post about recalibrating, and being in the messy middle of grieving. Yet the conversations, emails, texts and notes have meant to much. To know that we are not alone is one of the greatest gifts…

Recalibrate In a Business That Runs 24/7

May 15, 2026

It happens to me every year about this time. The need to recalibrate. In a business that can run 24/7 – it’s easy to look up one day and realize, your batteries are drained and there’s no break in sight. Side note – It doesn’t have to be a 24/7 thing, but that’s a topic…

It’s Okay For Things To Be Different

May 1, 2026

I often find myself comparing things. I compare my business this year to years past.I compare my health and fitness to where I was 10 years ago.I compare how I show up and experience different life events. On the one hand – it makes perfect sense. Our brains crave predictability. It calms our nervous system.…
