My friend and fellow real estate agent, Erin, is a master a getting into the flow with her clients and business. In all honesty one of the reasons I truly love her, though, is she is also a master at getting out of flow too which means she is a real person with input that is valuable for all of us.
When I am really in the zone I always think, ‘oh this feels so good and so effortless, it will be easy to stay like this forever’ and yet it just doesn’t work that way. Somewhere along the way I get off track and wonder what in the heck happened.
Erin left me the best voice mail ever last week. She had been feeling a bit scared about the market being slower and wondering where her next sale was coming from and starting to spend more and more time focusing on scarcity. So one morning she got up and spent some time journaling about all of the great things that are abundant in her life, all that she was greatful for and how things always work out. She had 2 new client calls within half an hour! It sounds fruity, but it’s true. What you focus on expands. You can put a seemingly up beat, glossy spin on it, but focusing on lack only brings more lack. As soon as you focus on abundance in any area of your life it carries forward into all of the other areas of your life as well.
Give it a shot and see what happens.
