We See Evidence of What We Believe

Whatever you believe to be true is what you’ll find evidence of in your daily life.
I was reminded of this yesterday. It was August 8th. A big day in the energy world. It’s a day to set intentions, manifest and connect to the Universe. Basically, a day to go full Woo.
But I didn’t spend the day meditating or doing rituals. I spent it driving to Portland for Ryan’s baseball tournament, sitting in traffic and eating fast food. It was awesome time with Ryan, but definitely not a Woo kind of day.
As I was sitting at the ball field last night wondering if I’d missed a great opportunity, I realized that my day was perfect in its own way.
If I had spent the day being Woo, I would have focused on connecting to the Universe and making a difference in people’s lives by listening, supporting, and encouraging them when they need it.
When I looked back at the day – I took a few extra moments to appreciate the gorgeous sunrise while walking the dogs and the brilliant moon at the baseball field. I talked with Alex about his college plans, supported Ryan with baseball, wished one of my best friends happy birthday and had several other wonderful conversations.
It was a day spent doing exactly what I wanted to do. As soon as I shifted my focus to believing that I am on track and things are working out, the evidence was all around me.
